Project Portfolio
TEC International
TEC is an organization of CEOs and key executives. Each month, TEC members meet in confidential sessions where their questions are answered and their answers questioned. Ken Sethney was a resource speaker at TEC meetings from 1996-2000. He also helped TEC build a team to develop and maintain its public website and a comprehensive intranet for members and staff.
J.J. Keller
This family-owned business has been publishing safety, compliance and training materials since 1953. They had evolved from printed materials to CD-ROM and wanted to implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy. With more than 800 associates serving 200,000+ companies, their Web strategy has supported a substantial growth in revenue and customer base without a commensurate increase in staff.
The American Institute of Wine & Food
Ken Sethney is a past chairman of the Orange County chapter of The AIWF. He donated the design of the national organization's website and developed a dynamic, database-driven content publishing system for the not-for-profit institute.
Advance Business Graphics
By the time ABG's CEO approached us, ABG had developed a customer-focused extranet and a savvy collection of service-products. All that remained was a website that would help prospective clients explore their options as part of a solution-oriented sales process. We coached management, marketing, a staff designer and external writer during strategic planning and development process.
Intellisight
IntelliSight, Inc. is a technology-based professional services firm, which enables corporate clients to compete in the online economy by automating labor-intensive business processes. Ken Sethney served as a member of the firm's advisory board.
HealthMoney HealthMoney helps Americans save money while receiving the highest quality healthcare products and services. Their website helps consumers make decisions about healthcare discount cards, insurance alternatives and savings accounts. The Sethney Group developed the firm's e-business strategy.
Venture Point Tech Coast SBDC
As a member of the Tech Coast Advisory Group, Ken Sethney helped high-tech entrepreneurs develop business plans based on solid business models and marketing strategies. As a consultant to Venture Point, Ken helped the organization create informative websites and Web tools, such as the Tech Coast Funding Directory. Unfortunately, the Small Business Development Center has been de-funded by its federal and state government sponsors.
Rainbow Technologies
Rainbow's marketing department had just received a website design from a graphic design firm. White type on dark red backgrounds. Hmmmmmm. It was all about design, but didn't connect with the customer -- potential or existing. We helped the marketing department and internal designers focus on the customer, and encouraged them to build their own site. They did an excellent job until their March, 2004, acquisition by SafeNet.
New Dimension Software
Alas, New Dimension Software was acquired by BMC Software in April, 1999. Our coaching work with New Dimension's web team lead to development of a customer-focused website where customers and prospects could find information based on their needs. BMC has taken a different approach.
